Wants, Needs, and Gets
Amber (of Being Amber Rhea -- link in side bar) got this idea from somewhere and I stole it from her. You type in "[your name] wants" into Google and read the first 10 results. Fun stuff. Do the same for "...needs" and "...gets" and the hilarity never stops, until you've read them all.
So, without further ado, here are Bly's list and my list:
BLY WANTS
- Bly wants everyone to speak out against this problem, and not to settle for what the government has become in his view.
- Bly wants to help men to thaw out, to feel what they are, in order that they may begin to look for more adaptive ways of being with one another, their wives, and their children.
- Bly wants to skip the hook, because hooks aren't always fun and almost never do the real selling.
- In the case of Iron John, Bly wants to reach American men to show them, using the Grimms' tale, how they have been "initiated" by women to be pleasing to women and therefore have been kept in a "boyish" state: "Only men can initiate men, as only women can initiate women. Women can change the embryo to a boy, but only men can change the boy to a man. Initiators say that boys need a second birth, this time a birth from a man"
- Bly wants people to stop thinking that scientists are frizzy-haired men in lab coats, with pocket protectors and bubbling purple flasks.
- There are sick, brutal men, of course, but Bly wants to help men to see that they can be happier and more fulfilled if they dispense with both the feminist cliches and mass-media stud cliches and try to get in touch with something deeper, something with a lineage back into the furthest reaches of history, and something profoundly important to all men.
- Bly wants the missing orb rod.
- But Bly wants to rehabilitate the role of male elder without reconstructing it, or facing why these men are hated.
Howard Nelson has argued that "Bly wants in the image a conjunction of the physical and the unknown, the sensory impression and the inner reverberation"
- Bly wants to shoot him, but is ordered to do otherwise by Aayla.
BLY NEEDS
- Bly needs to hire Karon.
- Bly needs one.
- Bly needs no introduction.
- Bly needs to rethink his tactics.
- Bly needs no introduction to this audience as a spokesman for the "men's movement,"
- Bly needs to finally have a decent game something he hasnt done all year.
- Bly needs To worry about his own improvement first--he didn't exactly light it up last year!
- BLY NEEDS TO CONCENTRATE ON DEFENSE, DONTCHA THINK?

- Bly needs the support of former hotshot, Joe Tanto
- Thirdly: Bly needs to get a passport.
BLY GETS
- Bly gets chance at grid job.
- The funny thing is when Bly gets the ball no one blocks for him, they all want the pitch.
- Bly gets a bad rap because of the drums.
- I fear most readers would give up before Bly gets to the point.
- Bly gets a thumbs up as it follows the path of a lonely widow who struggles with despair, and a dangerous woman!
- Bly gets beaten.
- Bly gets vocal about current media political wavering with an unabashedly feminist lens
- Bly gets better and better.

- When Russ gets crabby, Russ gets very very crabby.
- Russ gets Stamped.
- When Russ gets a job now he lays out the specific tasks and milestones, including when he is supposed to get paid.
- Russ gets it right when he says that if the wireless carriers really want to convince people to pay scads more to upgrade to 3G, they could do a lot.
- Russ gets to do what he loves everyday.
- Russ gets to the database to gather data.
- Russ gets x-rays.
Russ NEEDS
- Uncle Russ needs YOU!
- Russ needs to make Amy realize that he can take charge and be strong.
- That said, I think Russ needs training specificity.
- Bottom line: Russ needs to know which services need to be secured and which users need certificates.
- Russ needs volunteers to help with marketing, tickets, and prize booth.
- Russ needs it.
- Russ needs splash damage, its a big freaking cannon firing HEAT rounds,those explode.
- Russ needs his electric wheelchair.

Russ Wants
- Russ wants to declare the ACIS subnet to be secure as part of a basic high-security subnet.
- Russ wants to have strong, fresh session keys.
- Russ wants to know: "Are they dead, with their diseased bodies floating in the flood waters? And what about the cultures and vials of the diseases?
- Russ wants to work for Arthur Andersen.
- Russ wants to find a good investment.
- Russ wants to download gaydar into his pc.
- Russ wants to be coding stabs in the dark though.
- And finally, Russ wants your email addresses!
- Russ wants to protect Laurel because he feels she's Trevor's next victim, but he is soon way past that, falling hard.
