Just call me Bodhi

I did yoga for the first time today. We bought a random yoga DVD at Best Buy about two weeks ago and today was the first day I actually forced myself to do it. I only did the first workout (there are four), but it was enough to get me hooked, I think. The DVD is nice because it's not all wrapped up in woo-woo explanations or codswallop. It's pretty straightforward exercise talk, which is nice because I was scared it would be all New-Agey and mystical. The instructor isn't bad to look at, either. Heh.

I've been feeling really tired lately no matter how much sleep I get, but today I feel energized and awake. I recommend doing something like this highly. It's low impact, but difficult enough to be interesting, and good for you!

Bodhi, out.

I forgot

My birthday was last Wednesday and on Friday of that week I passed my thesis defense. I turned 26 and two days later was granted an MS degree, with which I will someday take over the world! Or at least use to carry on toward a Ph.D.

In other news, I am glad that my last name is not Bates.

Manna direct from God

I love dark chocolate covered espresso beans. They are so obviously given to us by God to enjoy. And they cause high levels of hyperactivity.

All the world should have some sitting on their desks (in a bag or nice decorative tin of some sort).
